Benifex has appointed Mohamad Awada to be its chief services officer.
In this role he will lead Benifex’s global professional services and consulting functions from London, with a focus on scaling the scaling the company’s service functions, delivering good customer outcomes while supporting the company’s next phase of growth.
The appointment comes as employers face increasing pressure to ensure their benefits programmes are both effective and well-used by employees.
For many organisations, particularly those operating across multiple markets, the challenge to is to ensure benefits programmes reflect the needs of their workforce and can be adapted to different regulatory environments.
Recent CIPD data showed that 22 per cent of employers have not set benefit goals and only 31 per cent are actively using them to improve productivity or business performance.
Awada joins SAP Emarsys where he also held the role of chief services officer.
