BlackRock is launching a new UK platform to support trusteed education and create forums for discussion.
This new Trustee Educational Academy (TEA), will be available to both trustees and consultants representing UK pension schemes through one simple registration link. This will give access to a range of content that will count towards their continued professional development.
BlackRock’s head of UK institutional client business Gavin Lewis says: “The past three years have seen a remarkable amount of change in UK pensions and an increasing amount of information that trustees need to be across.
“Our academy will provide them with the support and help they need to stay educated and informed, ultimately for the benefit of their members.”
Delivered through a series of white papers, educational videos/podcasts and thought leadership articles, the TEA covers topics across key trends affecting the UK retirement landscape such as endgame solutions for DB schemes, retirement demographics, scheme consolidation and governance.
Starting in November, the TEA will also offer a series of virtual and in-person events.
