Steve Bridger, former managing director group protection at Aviva, has been named as managing director of Aviva’s UK health business.
Bridger has been with Aviva for 17 years and in his new role will report to managing director health and protection, Rob Barker.
His successor as Managing Director Group Protection will be confirmed in due course and Bridger will continue to oversee this area of the business in the interim.
Bridger is currently chair of Group Risk Development.
He joined Norwich Union in 2003, having formerly held roles at Unum and Zurich.
