Broadstone appoints head of regulatory practice

Broadstone has appointed Damien Burke as head of regulatory practice.

Burke has over 25 years of experience working in banking and lending, specialising in credit risk analytics, compliance and regulatory responsiveness within the banking sector. 

He joins from Custom Credit where he was CEO until May this year. Prior to that, he was partner and head of regulatory practice at 4most between 2015 and 2021.

He has particular technical expertise in IFRS 9, Basel Capital Calculations and roles at SMF 1 and SMF 3 and has developed strategies and frameworks addressing governance, internal controls and policy development.
