Broadstone appoints head of operations to support schemes with endgame transactions

Broadstone has appointed Paul Noone to be its head of operations.

Noone returns to Broadstone after previously working for the consultancy firm between 2013 and 2019, first as director & head of trust-based pensions before moving into the role of chief operating officer.

Since 2019 Noone has worked for the Money and Pensions Service where he was head of onboarding for the Pensions Dashboard Programme. More recently he has held roles with both Capita and Railpen.

In his new role for Broadstone, Noone will focus on operational improvement, while seeking to enhance its administration capability for pension schemes as they prepare to execute transactions across the full endgame spectrum.

Noone will work closely with trustees, sponsors and insurers to ensure schemes are operationally ready for transaction and that member experience, data quality and delivery certainty remain central throughout.

Paul Noone, head of operations at Broadstone says: “Broadstone has built a reputation for administration excellence and I’m excited to help further strengthen our capabilities to guide clients through increasingly complex and high-value journeys.

“Demand for high-quality administration support around endgame activity is growing rapidly as many schemes look to execute successfully and affordably in a highly competitive insurance market to secure their members’ benefits for the long-term.”

Broastone head of pensions advisory and administration Nigel Jones, adds: “This appointment is a clear demonstration of our continued investment in and commitment to pensions administration as a core strategic capability.

“Noone brings experience across administration, transformation and endgame activity and his leadership will be critical as we support clients before, throughout and beyond the transaction process.”
