Broadstone has appointed Adam Bexson as a senior consultant within its DC team.
Bexson joins from Verlingue, where he was a senior corporate pension consultant, and he has also spent time at Brooks Macdonald, Barnett Waddingham and Alexander Forbes.
He has 20 years’ experience working within the DC sector, with particular expertise around the development and delivery of comprehensive governance oversight to provide employers with actions to drive positive change.
He has experience in pensions engagement and has a track record of helping employers focus on issues such as the gender pension gap, using salary sacrifice to avoid high effective marginal tax rates and preparing employees for retirement.
Bexson will focus on helping Broadstone identify and implement ways to improve outcomes for employers and their employees. He will also focus on creating and developing new client partnerships to contribute to Broadstone’s continued growth and success in the Employee Benefits Consulting market.
Broadstone head of DC workplace savings Damon Hopkins says: “Adam brings specialist DC capabilities which will support our division’s ambitious growth plans as we continue to deliver our high-quality independent DC proposition to employers and trustees”
Broadstone DC senior consultant Adam Bexson says: “I join Broadstone at a time of significant regulatory, legislative and fiscal change within the pensions market. As we look ahead to the Budget later this month, and the uncertainty it brings, it is clear that there is strong demand from employers and employees for clear, actionable and expert advice to support their long-term pension and benefit decision-making. I look forward to achieving this as part of a growing and innovative organisation and am excited to contribute to its ongoing success.”
