Buck has launched a new integrated pensions administration, technology and communications solution, Orion+.
The portal has been shown to increase member engagement by up to 30 per cent and will provide members with the tools they need to better understand and plan for their retirements, such as online quotations and transfer values.
Orion+ combines member-focused administration and technology with strategic communications to streamline administration services for trustees, drive member engagement, and meet both trustees’ and sponsors’ strategic objectives.
Buck managing director David Piltz says: “We’re very proud to be appointed as a trusted strategic partner for such a large and respected scheme as the Nationwide Pension Fund and look forward to supporting Nationwide’s DB scheme members with our cutting-edge administration and communications solutions.
“Successful scheme administration means empowering members and giving them the knowledge they need to make decisions for their individual financial futures. It also means giving trustees and sponsors the right tools to help them gain a deeper understanding of their membership and how to interact with them more effectively. I’m delighted to see Orion+ supporting these goals as it’s specifically aligned to meet the needs of each client.”
Buck has also been appointed by the Nationwide Pension Fund’s (NPF) trustee to provide member-focused pension administration and technology services to its 29,000 defined benefit scheme members.
Nationwide head of pensions Ian Baines says: “Buck’s flexibility, expertise, and digital-first collaborative approach were all key in the decision to appoint them as the Trustee partner, as well as allowing us to continue with the valued communications support we’ve received from Concert. We look forward to working even more closely together to integrate Buck’s high-quality administration and empowering member technology to better support the Fund and its members.”
