Bupa Health Clinics have launched a new suite of services for corporate customers, which include widespread antibody and antigen tests.

These new servcies are designed to help businesses support employees returning to work.

The new service covers three areas. The ‘Assess Me’ option is an occupational health service which includes risk assessments for employers. The ‘Test Me’ package offers various Covid-19 tests to employees, this includes antigen tests, to check if they currently have coronavirus, as well as an antibody test which checks if they have previously had the disease.

The antigen test is a swab test that can be used by employees at home, whereas people will need a blood test for the antibody test. Employees will be able to discuss results from both tests with a nursing team.

The final ‘Check Me’ options offers in-office temperature checks, conducted by the Bupa team or a member of staff who has been trained by Bupa. These can be done when employees enter the office building.

Bupa Health Clinics managing director Sarah Melia says: “We are really pleased to be able to offer these services to businesses across the UK.

“Throughout the pandemic, we’ve been providing materials to help with the working from home transition and our new services will support people as we move into the next phases and beyond.

“We know that many employees may be feeling anxious about their return to work. As such, businesses need to put new measures in place to help employees feel safe.”

The move comes as a recent study from Bupa Health Clinics found that 65 per cent of Brits were anxious about returning to the office1.

Bupa Health Clinics will also be selling antibody tests directly to customers from the majority of its UK clinics for £65. These clinics reopened at the start of June and provide health assessments and MSK appointments for customers, and will continue to offer remote services including virtual consultations.
