Bupa workplace protection head joins L&G

Legal & General has appointed Colin Fitzgerald into the role of distribution director for its insurance workplace health and protection team.

Fitzgerald joins from Bupa where he was  head of partnerships & affinities in its corporate sales team.

Prior to that he was director of national accounts at Unum for 11 years where he was responsible for Unum’s Premier offering.  He holds an MBA from Henley Business School.

Legal & General workplace health & protection managing director Martin Noone says: “I am delighted that Colin has joined the management team. Colin brings extensive market knowledge, experience and relationships and a reputation as an effective senior manager. I am confident that he will make a significant contribution to Legal & General”.
