Barnett Waddingham has appointed seven new equity partners among its 2022 promotions.
The new partners are scheme actuary and head of DB Endgame Chris Ramsey, head of risk advisory and analytics Dean Hughes, actuary and head of corporate consulting Jane Ralph, head of longevity risk transactions, Simon Bramwell, senior consulting actuary non-Life insurance consultant Wan Hsien Heah, senior pension management consultant, Lucy Cresswell and public sector actuary Melanie Durrant.
Along with the new partners, the firm has promoted 15 principals and associates in a variety of business areas, including assisting trustees, employers, insurers, and private clients. The promotions will take effect on June 1, 2022, bringing the total number of partners to 94.
In addition, three long-serving partners will retire on May 31, 2022. Nick Salter, a founding partner of Barnett Waddingham and former senior partner from June 2012 to May 2020, is one of them. Dave Grimshaw, a pensions and insurance longevity risk specialist, and Shirley Jackson, who oversaw the firm’s pensions management team will also retire.
