Aon won the prestigious Firm of the Year Award, with The Ink Group picking up the gong for the Best Small Firm at the Corporate Adviser Awards 2023, held last night in London.
The awards recognise excellence among advisers and providers in the workplace pensions and benefits sector. On the provider side Aviva was a big winner, taking home five separate awards, including Ultimate Default Fund, Best Default ESG Strategy, Best Group Pension Providers, Best Provider Decumulation Proposition and Best Healthcare Provider.
Industry figures from across the benefits sector gathered at the Marriott Grosvenor Square Hotel for the Awards ceremony, hosted by comedian Marcus Brigstocke.
On the advisory side Aspira Corporate Solutions won Best Healthcare Adviser, XPS Pensions Group was recognised as Best Pension Adviser, Benefex as Best Group Risk Adviser and Barnett Waddinham as Best Sustainable Benefits Advisers.
Legal & General took home the prize for Best Master Trust and Zurich topped the table in the Best Group Risk Provider category, while BNP Paribas Asset Management was recognised as the Best ESG Asset Manager.
In the health and wellbeing categories, Medicash won the award for Best Cash Plan Provider, Syrona Health for Best Health & Wellbeing Innovator, while Moneyhub took home a gong for Best Financial Wellbeing Provider.
Providers’ service propositions were also celebrated with the presentation of Five Star and Four Star trophies to top performers in the Corporate Adviser Service Ratings, decided by an independent satisfaction survey of over 100 advisers. This year only Royal London achieved a coveted Five Star service rating award.
