Canada Life UK has appointed Rose St Louis to the new role of chief customer officer, while also appointing Sean Christian as its permanent chief operating officer.
The company says these two new executive committee appointments will enable further strong growth.

In this newly created role, St Louis will lead the development of Canada Life’s customer strategy, overseeing key engagement functions and collaborating across the business to create a consistent experience for the company’s customers and advisers.
Christian has served as interim COO since June 2025. He will take on this position on a permanent basis, alongside his role as managing director, wealth, with immediate effect.
Canada Life UK chief executive Emma Watkins says: “[These] appointments reflect our commitment to putting customers first, always.
“Rose will bring together our customer insight, experience and engagement into a single, powerful focus on delivering better outcomes for the 3.3 million customers and adviser partners who rely on us. At the same time, Sean’s leadership of our Operations function will ensure we continue to evolve how we work and strengthen the foundations that support our growth.”
