Cardano appoints new chief financial and risk officer

The Cardano Group has appointed Laura Gilbert as its group chief financial and risk officer.

Gilbert will be in charge of the company’s finance and risk divisions, as well as assisting in the development of the firm’s strategic direction and engaging with important stakeholders. 

Gilbert has worked in senior finance roles with accounting firms, investment managers, and credit management firms for over 20 years. Gilbert was a managing director at Lowell Group, a provider of data analytics, debt purchasing, and business process outsourcing, before joining Cardano.

Gilbert worked at Alliance Bernstein and PwC before joining Lowell, where she earned her Fellow Chartered Accountant qualification. Gilbert holds an MA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Oxford University.
