The Cardano Group has appointed Howard Brindle as its group chief operating officer.
Howard will manage all of the organisation’s resources and investments for long-term expansion and effectiveness in this newly formed position. He starts working for the corporation on August 23 and he will be based in London.
Howard has more than 20 years of experience working in senior operational positions for investment banks and asset managers. Howard worked with USS Investment Management in a number of positions prior to joining Cardano. In the previous ten years, he has worked with USS as the COO, Deputy CEO, and a member of the executive board since he joined the company in 2012. Howard’s most recent post was chief of staff for private markets, where he was in charge of overseeing all asset management and support operations for a £29bn portfolio of real assets, primarily directly held assets.
Howard spent four years as an executive director and head of transfer agency operations, EMEA, at J.P. Morgan before joining USS. Between 2000 and 2008, he also served in a number of positions at Lehman Brothers, with his last role being chief administrative officer for Lehman Brothers Asset Management Europe.
