Dalriada Trustees has appointed Helen Scothern as a senior professional trustee.
She joins from Cooper Parry, where she served as a pensions audit associate partner and led the firm’s pension audit team.
She was also involved in Cooper Parry’s role on the Pension Protection Fund audit panel. Prior to this, Cooper held a number of senior roles at the firm, which she joined in 1997.
Dalriada says Cooper brings almost 30 years of experience in managing a large portfolio of pension scheme clients. This has seen her complete projects for schemes under often challenging circumstances. She also played a key role in supporting the successful Fraud Compensation Fund claim on behalf of the members of the three Norton Motorcycle pension schemes.
Her appointment will contribute to the continued development of Dalriada’s client offerings, as the firm expands in areas where it is seeing strong demand. She will be based in the Midlands and work across Dalriada’s regions, with a focus on business development and building a portfolio of trustee appointments.
Following this latest appointment, Dalriada now employs over 50 professional trustees, and is responsible for more than 370 pension schemes.
Dalriada Trustees chair Tom Lukic says: “This appointment is a significant and positive development for Dalriada, reflecting our confidence in both our team and our business. Her extensive audit experience and deep knowledge of pensions make her an invaluable addition to our rapidly growing firm.”
