Julie Gillis, programme director at the Department for Work and Pensions who is leading the DWP’s pension dashboard feasibility study, has been awarded the honour for ‘public service’.
HMRC chief executive Jonathan Thompson also received the Order of the Bath for public service.
John Redwood MP, former Welsh Secretary and now investment committee chair at Charles Stanley, received a knighthood for political and public service.
James Leigh-Pemberton, chairman of UK Financial Investments, the company that wound down the Government’s stake in RBS, also received a knighthood, while digital bank Monzo co-founder Thomas Blomfield received an OBE for services for improving competition and financial inclusion.
