Future Growth Capital, has appointed Subbu Murugesan to the new role of head of valuations.
FGC is an independent private markets manager, which was formed by Schroders and Phoenix Group. It is one of the private markets asset managers for Standard Life’s pension workplace pension default.
Murugesan has almost two decades of experience working in private markets. He joins from Deutsche Bank where he was a market and valuation risk director, where he was responsible for all valuation matters associated with private investments, as well as senior stake holder management across regulators, auditors and management.
In this created role, Murugesan will be responsible for overseeing Future Growth Capital’s valuation function, and ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory developments.
He will also develop and oversee the valuations and portfolio monitoring of the firm’s direct and co-investments, primary and secondary fund investments across the firms’ private market strategies.
He will report into James Harvey, Future Growth Capital’s chief financial officer and chief operating officer.
