First Actuarial appointed by The London Clinic Retirement Fund

First Actuarial has been appointed to provide actuarial and administration services for The London Clinic Retirement Fund.

The fund is a defined benefit scheme with around £65m in assets. The sponsoring employer specialises in cancer care and is based in Harley Street.

First Actuarial associate partner and scheme actuary Andrew Allsopp says: “Our administration team has quickly put the basics in place – responding promptly to member requests and keeping them informed as their cases progress. And as we promised, London Clinic, members now have a named administrator they can contact directly by phone or email, and who knows about their situation.” 

Vidett and the Scheme’s independent trustee Claire Teagle says: “The key driver for changing the administration was to improve the member experience and I am delighted to see such an improvement in in such a short period of time.”
