Ann Flynn has left Willis Towers Watson to take up the role of head of financial wellbeing at Legal & General.
Flynn, who has held senior pensions roles at both Willis Towers Watson and Scottish Widows, is charged with delivering compelling member experiences to L&G’s 2.4m DC members.
Flynn will be conducting a gap analysis to see whether a new engagement proposition is needed or whether L&G’s existing member engagement proposition can be retained and improved. This will involve working with L&G’s larger DC clients. Flynn says her immediate focus will remain on pensions, but her strategic vision is to extend into other needs and product areas.
She takes up the role on October 2nd.
Flynn says: “This is a fantastic opportunity to lead an area which I have always been passionate about and so important for the members of workplace pension schemes. I look forward to working with colleagues across the business, employers and members to support the delivery of better financial outcomes.”
