Friends Provident Corporate Benefits is appointing Colin Williams as distribution and marketing director, Paul Bucksey as head of new business development and Russell Welsh as head of workplace development.
The provider says these appointments are the first in a series designed to build a customer focused sales and workplace team. Williams, who held a similar role at Axa Corporate Benefits before the business was acquired by Friends parent Resolution, will be responsible for defining, developing and managing the sales and marketing strategy as well as creating innovative and market leading propositions.
Bucksey, former head of sales at Axa Corporate Benefits, will be responsible for new business development and consultant relationships.
The provider has begun the process of confirming sales and workplace structures below the leadership team and a further announcement will be made in the coming weeks. Welsh will lead the client relationship team to retain and develop existing business. He has been integral to the development of Friends Provident’s corporate platform – Next Generation Solutions.
Paul McMahon, managing director, Friends Provident Corporate Benefits says: “It is a very exciting time in the long term savings industry. We will have a particular focus on improving employee engagement with participation in workplace savings. This in turn will maximise employer return on investment from the benefits package they offer to employees.”
