Gallagher acquires Redington for undisclosed sum

AJ Gallagher has acquired consulting firm Redington for an undisclosed amount.

This is the latest acquisition US-based Gallagher has made in the UK corporate advisory space, having also recently acquired acquired Buck.

Redington is based in London and provides a range of investment consulting and technology services for UK pension funds, wealth managers and institutional investors.

Gallagher says that the Redington team will remain in place, headed up by Sylvia Pozezanac, who will report to David Piltz, head of Gallagher’s UK employee benefits and HR consulting operations.

Gallagher chairman and CEO  J Patrick Gallagher, Jr says: “As a leader in the investment consulting space, Redington brings exceptional talent and represents a fantastic cultural fit. Their deep capabilities in modelling and investment market research will enhance our existing consulting services and help our clients achieve superior financial security outcomes.”

Gallagher is a global insurance brokerage, risk management and consulting services firm, providing these services in approximately 130 countries through its owned operations and a network of correspondent brokers and consultants.
