Growing demand for healthcare trusts helps Healix expand

Healix Health Services is opening a new office in Bristol, creating 50 new jobs in the area.

The healthcare trust provider is expanding its front-line operations team after seeing “record growth” in demand for its services. Helix says this is a reflection on the increased pressure on the NHS post-pandemic and the need for more cost-effective alternatives to traditional private medical insurance (PMI).

The Bristol-based team will consist of health claims assessors who will be responsible for the delivery of a quick and effective claims management service for trust members. Trust administration will still be managed on a wider level from the company headquarters in Esher, Surrey.

Healix says the city was chosen as it offers a good talent pool for recruitment,  via the two universities and an established customer service sector. The expansion will create over 50 jobs over the next 15 months.

Healix Health Services CEO Ian Talbot says: “We take a great deal of pride in the services we provide our healthcare trust members, and all our decisions are based on how we can make sure we deliver the most effective, efficient claims journey.

“The expansion of the team and opening of a new office in Bristol is a testament to this approach as demand continues to grow at pace post-pandemic.”
