Healix Health Services renews partnership with HCB Group

Healix Health Services has renewed its partnership with HCB Group after an initial three-year collaboration.

Healix first teamed up with HCB Group to improve its employer wellbeing services and expand its occupational health services. Healix says it has given hands-on practical expertise for employees experiencing health concerns since incorporating HCB’s Employee Health Management services into its proposal, ensuring they receive full assistance from their first day on the job.

HCB Group has assisted nearly three-quarters of people who used the service, or 77 per cent, return to work through its Early Intervention programme in the last six months, while achieving other good outcomes, such as partial return to work or referrals to experts, for the remaining 9 per cent of instances.

Employees with chronic and debilitating diseases, such as Long Covid, have gained access to HCB Group’s nurse-led Employee Health Management service. Healix’s clients will also have access to services including new employee screening, case management, absence management, and expert assessments, as part of the agreement.

Healix CEO Ian Talbot says: “In the last three years, we have seen HCB Group live up to its great reputation in the employee wellbeing sector and help provide valuable support for employees. We chose to partner with HCB for their expertise in early intervention and supporting employees, while also having a clear understanding of the benefit of managing employee health for the profitability of a business. We look forward to continuing our partnership and the expertise and value they bring to our clients and their employees.”

Health Claims Bureau Group managing director Jim Harris says: “Our partnership with Healix has allowed us to combine our facilitated Employee Health Management services with the flexibility and cost-effectiveness of a Healthcare Trust. Healix’s expertise has also enabled us to fulfil our aspiration of revamping the traditional Occupational Health model, and this valuable partnership continues to drive our growth in this arena.”
