Healix revenue up 140pc since 2020

Healix’s revenue has surged by over 140 per cent since 2020, with a 67 per cent increase in the number of people supported through workplace schemes.

This increase is consistent with the Association for British Insurers’ report of a record 4.4 million employees currently covered by workplace health insurance.

Additionally, Healix has expanded its solutions to address changing demands, such as new diagnostic pathways for breast, skin, and prostate cancer, as well as a digital dermatological service that provides immediate skin cancer support.

Healix has also responded to rising demand for non-standard benefits, with an 86 per cent increase in organisations giving reproductive benefits and a 500 per cent increase in those offering neurodevelopmental and gender dysphoria benefits since 2021.

Healix Health CEO Ian Talbot says: “Despite data showing that private medical insurance costs are rising, we are seeing no signs of employers offering cover to their employees slowing down.

“Employers have an important role to play in supporting people as access to the national health service is becoming increasingly challenging. Providing support for employees to access individualised, bespoke healthcare is in turn becoming an increasingly important recruitment and retention tactic.”
