Saunders has worked in the general insurance industry for over 30 years, included sales management and development roles at Medisure and Gissings, specialising in health and wellbeing, with a particular focus on self-funded healthcare plans. He will report to Owen Oliver, head of key clients.
In the last 12 years he set up and was responsible for the sales function at Healix Health Services where, rising to the position of sales director, he was instrumental in growing the Healix Trust book of business, making Healix a significant presence in the UK healthcare trust market.
