Virtual therapist HelloSelf had joined the trade body Group Risk Development (Grid).
HelloSelf provides a range of digital psychological therapy services, and currently works with a number of partner organisations including insurers, the NHS and medical professionals, as well as offering services direct to individuals.
HelloSelf private partnerships lead Tim Fuller says the firms offers one of the UK’s largest networks of clinical and counselling psychologists, and has its own own therapy platform. Fuller says this enables HelloSelf to deliver long-lasting outcomes for individuals, and the organisations for which they work, in an efficient and sustainable way.
Fuller adds: “We are strongly positioned to work with Grid to help shape policy, and advocate for the importance of the right type of mental health support, for the growing number of people struggling with their mental health.”
Well-timed and personalised therapy can help support people back into work if they are absent due to mental health needs or challenging physical health conditions. HelloSelf says it keen to work with Grid members to explore how the protection industry can support proactive prevention, to reduce the likelihood of mental ill health being a cause of absenteeism and reduce the risk of relapse post-support.
Grid chair Colin Fitzgerald adds: “As an industry, the closer we work with diverse specialists in field, the better. The fuller our proposition, the better support we’re able to provide within Group Risk.”
