HS Trustees appoints new managing director

HS Trustees has appointed Bobby Riddaway to be its new managing director

Riddaway joined HS Trustees at the start of July this year. He was previously a trustee at Capital Cranfield,  and before that helped built Capita’s investment consulting team, where he worked for almost 10 years.

Since arriving at HS Trustees, Riddaway has relaunched HS Trustees into the marketplace, offering both co-trustee and Professional Corporate Sole Trustee (PCST) services.

Riddaway says he is also working to find practical ESG solutions for all schemes the company works with, and has initiated HS Trustees’ membership of Pensions for Purpose.

HS Trustees chief executive Steve Goddard says: “[Riddaway] brings a wealth of experience to HS Trustees and we are delighted to have him onboard. He is well respected and is making waves in the ESG space to improve practices and governance for both independent trustee and PCST opportunities”

Riddaway adds: “I am delighted to join to build a fully independent trustee firm that will work in partnership with schemes, sponsors and advisors to achieve the best outcomes for members. I am also grateful for the backing that HS has given me to continue to work with the industry to improve outcomes for the world in general and continue the fight against climate change.”

Riddaway has over 30 years’ experience in pensions and investments. He is currently Chair of Trustees on the DB Scheme of a London based firm of Lawyers. He is a regular speaker on DB, DC and ESG/ stewardship issues. He is also currently an asset owner member of the AIMSE Europe council and past chair of the ACA Investment Committee.
