Fintech business HUB Group has appointed Rob Hudson into the new role of chief commercial officer to accelerate digital investment.
Hudson joins HUB Group after more than seven years at abrdn, where he led the creation of new direct to consumer distribution and partnerships, including the Virgin Money digital joint venture. Hudson was formerly the creator of the Charles Stanley Direct platform’s successful launch and expansion, as well as roles at Hargreaves Lansdown, Egg plc, and Close Brothers. Hudson will start in June and report to group chief executive David Cooper.
HUB Group is a subsidiary of Just Group, a FTSE 250 retirement specialist that delivers corporate solutions, pension plans, and regulated advisory and assistance services to employees and scheme members.
Destination Retirement, HUB Group’s breakthrough automated advising solution, was launched early this year and will have been put in over 50 organisations in the coming months.
