Hymans Robertson has announced a series of appointments and promotions, making Richard Wellard as head of alternative risk transfer solutions, and announcing four new four new equity members and 12 new partners to the consultancy firm.
In this role Wellard will lead the team supporting trustees and sponsors that are considering newer risk transfer options including, superfunds, capital backed solutions and alternative insurance products. Wellard has been a partner with Hymans Robertson since 2015.
Meanwhile the consultancy has appointment four new equity members: Gemma Sefton, head of service delivery, pensions; Sally Haran, HR director; Ross Fleming, investment DB and Susan McIlvogue, head of large DB schemes solutions.
Hymans Robertson senior partner Jon Hatchett says that all have contributed “an enormous amount to the management, growth and success of the firm across a wide range of areas”.
Hatchett adds: “I’m also pleased that we’ve announced the appointment of 12 new partners. Each has made an outstanding contribution to the success of the firm. They have been appointed across a variety of areas, showcasing the breath of our firm today and the ways in which we support our clients for the long-term.”
