Kay Ingram has left LEBC to pursue a new venture as a personal finance commentator and broadcaster.

Ingram, a qualified chartered financial planner, had been with LEBC for 18 years. She had held a number of roles within the company including head of private client services and most recently, public policy director.  Prior to LEBC she worked for Tenon.

Ingram will be starting her own business after a short break. Commenting on her move she said: “I wish to use my considerable experience in financial planning to improve financial literacy among those members of the public currently excluded or deterred from seeking financial advice.

“I hope that better informed consumers will feel able to seek financial advice when taking important financial decisions.”

LEBC managing director Derek Miles said: “Kay has been a stalwart of LEBC’s development, fulfilling various roles in the business over the past 18 years,.

“We wish her well with her new venture and in her endeavours to improve consumer financial capability.”
