Isio has appointed three new partners as it continues to expand its advisory offering.

Richard Birkin, Andrew Craig and Calum Brunton Smith have all been promoted and will each take on specific roles to enhance Isio’s position in existing markets and support growth in new areas.

Isio, which was formerly KPMG’s UK pension practice launched in 2020 as an independent business.

Birkin leads the market-leading defined contribution (DC) consultancy team and has recently taken on a new role heading up the Birmingham office.

Craig, based in the Bristol office, is driving the organisation’s new reward and benefits offering, supporting employee benefits and financial wellbeing with platforms, coaching and consultancy.

Brunton Smith, from the Glasgow office, has played a key role in growth of Isio’s investment advisory business, notably in Scotland.

Isio CEO Andrew Coles says: “Isio has grown rapidly since launch in 2020 and these individuals have played a hugely important role in our development.”

He added that bringing Premier into the group at the start of the year has enabled Isio to offer new services to clients. Coles says that these newly promoted partners, along with Ed Wilson and Emily McGuire who joined the partner group from WTW and Aon recently, will play an important role in the firm’s future development.
