Isio Scotland makes two senior appointments

Isio Scotland has bolstered its Glasgow and Edinburgh teams with senior appointments to its actuarial and public services consulting teams.

Glasgow-based Kenneth Wilson joins the senior management team in Scotland as principal and is a scheme actuary. Wilson has 20 years’ pensions experience and previously worked for Aon where he was responsible for delivering actuarial, secretarial and governance services to some of the firm’s largest Scottish trustee clients.

Meanwhile Colin Dobbie joins as a senior consultant from Barnett Waddinghamm  where he worked as an actuary for LGPS Funds, Police & Fire Authorities and Funeral Plan Trusts.

Isio recently announced strong growth both in terms of revenue and profits with its core actuarial and consulting and pensions administration service lines growing organically by 10 per cent. These latest appointments see it continue to expand its offering in Scotland.

Isio, which recently celebrated its third anniversary, announced at the start of the year that it had signed an agreement to acquire Deloitte’s  UK pensions advisory business. Partner and head of Isio Scotland Julie Gray says these senior appointments will help the company increase its presence in the Scottish market.
