LCP has launched a new AI tool designed to help scheme members better understand pension information, with a view to improving levels of engagement.
The tool, known as Transpose, is designed to customise content into different formats to help make complex information more accessible.
This tool can be used to convert convert PDFs and websites into videos and podcasts and will also automatically translate information into six different languages. It will also conver text into audio and can create summaries of more complex information for quick understanding.
LCP says this tool can be embedded into websites or used with standalone documents.
LCP head of strategy Tom Porter says: “As AI develops and evolves at pace, there is interest in and some concerns around the role it can and will play in the future of work.
“Rather than focusing on content creation and automation, like many new AI technologies, Transpose is designed to enhance existing content. By enabling people to consume content in the way that works for them, it builds engagement, saves time and increases accessibility.”
LCP says the tool has four key capabilities:
- Video creation: It can convert documents or webpages into video walkthroughs to help cater to visual learners and diverse audiences.
- Multilingual capabilities: The tool can transform English content into a variety of languages, expanding reach to international audiences, and helping those who do not have English as a first language
- Enhanced accessibility: This can help break down barriers to ensure the message reaches a broader audience.
- Customisable content: This enables users to interact with your content in ways that suit their preferences, improving engagement and retention.
