L&G has appointed Paula Llewellyn to be the newly-created role of CEO, DC & workplace savings.
Llewellyn is currently chief customer and strategy officer, retail at L&G and has previously been managing director of L&G’s direct business, encompassing its at retirement and protection propositions, and CEO of financial advice.
In this new role Llewellyn will be working across L&G’s retail and asset management businesses. She will be responsible for the combined growth of L&G’s DC and workplace savings business, ensuring the firm maximises its market leadership and continues to deliver for DC clients and members.
L&G says that growing the DC and workplace savings business is a strategic commercial priority for the company, against a background of an evolving retirement and regulatory landscape.
Llewellyn aims to create a clear strategic vision for this business, ensuring L&G harnesses its distribution strengths, investment capabilities and customer focus. She will take up the role from 1 April, subject to regulatory approval.
