The new platform will include the recent improvements to the underlying terms and conditions of these products.
L&G says the platform will allow brokers to upload data securely, enabling them to access instant comparison quotes, without the need to repeatedly input customer data.
The insurer adds that this is part of its ongoing commitment to improve digital services for brokers working with small and medium sized businesses.
L&G distribution director Colin Fitzgerald says: “Our digital broker platform has been developed to reflect the feedback we’ve received from brokers, as well as our appetite for targeting this segment through competitive pricing and enhancements to free cover limits.
“We’ve invested in our digital offering to make the process of applying for group protection an easier and more streamlined experience.”
He adds that innovative technology has a significant role to play in the group protection market, helping to drive efficiencies and reduce costs for brokers.
