The life insurance and protection brokerage Lifesearch was voted the third best company to work for in the UK, by The Sunday Times.
Lifesearch sources insurance and protection policies for both individuals and the group market. The company now employs 500 people.
The Sunday Times publishes a list each year of the best companies to work for, which rates individual businesses on a range of factors, including staff retention, corporate culture, training opportunities and employee engagement levels.
LifeSearch Holdings says this accolade was “validation” of its culture and values system. The company has an employee retentiion rate of 89 per cent, and strong customer satisfaction ratings on both Net Promoter and Trustpilot.
This award comes after a year of strong growth for the life insurance broker, with turnover up by 5.7 per cent and profits up by 10 per cent. The company has also invetsed heavily in its digital capability and strengthened its leadership team over the past year.
Lifesearch founder and chief executive Tom Baigrie says the company continued to do well in what was “at last” a growing market for protection.
He says: “We have achieved continued growth while investing heavily and being recognised as a truly outstanding place to work.
“We are already seeing the results of our spending on technology, but it is our continued investment in our people that is reinforcing our solid foundations, ensuring we can keep protecting more families and businesses.”
