Cash plan provider Medicash has revamped its senior management structure and announced ambitious growth plans to target one million policyholders by 2030.

This reorganisation will see it focus on digital innovation and solutions to serve its corporate client base, broker network, and individual policyholders.

The Liverpool-based cash plan provider has appointed  Andy Roberts to the new role of chief operating officer. Roberts was previously been finance & IT director,  and will now offer leadership across finance and customer operations.

Medicash has also appointed Paul Marley to the role of chief technology officer, which will report directly into the CEO Andrew Healy. As part of this organisational change Paul Gambon will also take on the expanded role of chief commercial officer, where he will be responsible for championing customer-focused growth initiatives.

Meanwhile Medicash has announced two new appointments. Alex McAleavey joins as chief risk officer from Aldermore Bank.

It has also appointed Dan Williams to the role of head of change and transformation. Williams joins the firm on 17 November from Tunstall Global Healthcare where he is global group change director. In this new role he will co-ordinate Medicash’s strategic change programmes, harnessing technology, AI and digital solutions to enhance efficiency and customer experience.

As well as seeking to boost its customer base and strengthen its position as the UK’s largest corporate cash plan provider, Medicash says it is also planning to double the financial contribution to its charitable foundation – giving at least £750,000 a year to good causes.

Medicash CEO Andrew Healy says: “We’ll continue to drive innovation, accessibility, and wellbeing in workplace health provision so we can grow from 675,000 policyholders today to over one million. We’ll also go back to our 150-year-old roots by channelling more of what we generate into worthy causes, helping those who need support in areas like homelessness, mental health, and preventative care.”

“By setting clear growth ambitions and strengthening how we operate, we’re building a future that will benefit not only our customers and colleagues, but also the communities we care about.”
