MetLife UK has appointed Charlotte Lade to the newly created role of head of customer propositions.
In this role Lade will be responsible for innovating proposition development to enhance the customer experience. She will also lead the development and delivery of MetLife UK’s value propositions across its employee benefits and core individual protection business.
The insurer says this role reflects the changing protection landscape, with the need to focus on maximising customer value. Part of the role will be to ensure good customer outcomes are delivered in line with the new Consumer Duty regulations.
Lade has worked in the protection market since joining MetLife in 2008. She was previously head of communication the UK, and helped launched the employee benefits funeral concierge service. She also co-led the UK brand refresh.
MetLife UK managing director Dominic Grinstead says: “[Lade] has an exemplary track record of building our brand and raising our profile externally. Her insights will be integral to building innovative solutions for our customers.”
Lade adds: “The challenges facing UK families and businesses today are well documented. We are making great strides at MetLife to ensure our range of products are not only affordable but also accessible to as many people as possible.”
