MetLife UK has made three new appointments to its executive team as part of plans to grow its employee benefits business in the UK.
Adrian Mathews has been appointed as UK deputy CEO of MetLife UK, a newly created role, with a focus on driving commercial activities and ensuring the UK business remains responsive to industry and customer needs.
Meanwhile Charlotte O’Brien has been appointed as head of employee benefits, with a focus on growth. In December the company also promoted Rich Horner as head of transformation & growth initiatives.
Matthews, has been with the company for over a decade, most recently as head of employee benefits. He has also worked as CFO for MetLife UK. O’Brien has worked for MetLife UK for seven years, most recently as head of portfolio retention & growth. Her promotion sees her join the UK executive team.
MetLife says these appointments will help it unlock new opportunities for long-term sustainable growth by ensuring the company remains agile in a changing landscape.
Both Matthews and Horner will report to Dominic Grinstead, CEO of MetLife UK. With O’Brien reporting into Matthews.
