Natixis Investment Managers has named current Ostrum Asset Management head Philippe Setbon as chief executive officer.
Setbon will be in charge of asset & wealth management and will become a member of the senior management committee of Groupe BPCE’s global businesses and a member of the BPCE executive committee.
Setbon began his career as a financial analyst at Barclays Bank in 1990 before joining Groupe Azur-GMF for 10 years as head of asset management. He moved on to Generali Group in 2004 where he had several positions, including chief investment officer and CEO of Generali Investments France. He joined Groupama in 2013, becoming the CEO of Groupama Asset Management.
He has been CEO of Ostrum Asset Management since 2019 and will be succeeded by Olivier Houix.
