Nest Corporation has appointed Femi Bamisaiye to be the scheme’s new chief technology and operating officer (CTOO).

This role is a new addition to Nest’s executive team. Bamisaiye was most recently chief information officer at Aviva’s UK general insurance business.

Nest says in this and previous roles Bamisaiye has a established a track record  of leading extensive change programs to enhance customer satisfaction and business efficiency. He has also managed significant strategic partnerships to deliver both improvements to service and cost savings.

Bamisaiye has also held senior management regulatory accountability with overall responsibility for technology services and strategy, cyber security, change delivery, outsourcing and operational resilience.

Nest adds that the creation of this CTOO role underscores the importance it places on evolving the service it delivers to its members through customer-centric technology, while ensuring its systems remain robust and protect the pension pots for its millions of members.

Nest CEO Ian Cornelius says: “Bamisaiye’s extensive experience in digital technology transformation and customer-centric strategies will be invaluable as we continue to evolve our services.

“His leadership will be instrumental in leveraging technology and data to enhance our operations and deliver the best possible financial outcomes for our members.”
