Nest Corporation has appointed Louise Fitzgerald to be its chief financial officer (CFO).
Fitzgerald has been the interim CFO since March this year, and prior to this was CFO at British Arab Commercial Bank, where she was also a trustee of its DB pension scheme.
This permanent appointment will also see Fitzgerald join Nest’s trustee board.
Fitzgerald has more than 25 years’ experience in financial services, working finance and treasury functions for investment and commercial banks, dealing in fixed income, equities, M&A, real estate, debt capital markets, trade finance and treasury products and services.
Nest CEO Ian Cornelius says: “Since joining in an interim capacity, [Fitzgerald] has added immediate value, bringing new ideas and a fresh perspective to financial management, relationship building, and navigating regulatory environments, key areas for the future of Nest.
“We are delighted Fitzgerald has been appointed as our permanent chief financial officer. I look forward to continuing our work together to ensure financial management remains robust in support of our purpose to build financial peace of mind for all.”
