Nest pensions has expanded it executive team, appointing April Clark to the new role of chief people officer (CPO).
Clark has considerable experience in the financial services and human resources sector, having held senior positions at Aon, Prudential and Saga Insurance.
Nest says this experience will help the scheme competitive in what is a competitive and complex market. It says that creating a new CPO role understood the importance Nest places on having the right capabilities and culture within the organisation.
Nest CEO Ian Cornelius says: “[Clark’s] appointment as chief people officer marks a significant milestone for us. Her leadership will be pivotal in ensuring that we have the right talent and culture to meet the challenges ahead.”
He adds that this key leadership role will be important as the pension provider embarks on the next stage of its transformation journey.
