The Female Forum, a London network for professional women created in 2022, has unveiled the Pension Chapter, an industry-specific project with the goal of creating a strategic network for women working in the pensions sector.
The initiative includes quarterly topic roundtable discussions that give female leaders a forum for discussion of issues unique to their industries. Corporate partners for the Pension Chapter include LCP, Janus Henderson Investors, and Sackers. At the event’s debut, Zo Burdo, a partner at LCP, discussed the value of sound governance and the contribution that diversity of viewpoints can make to fostering change in the boardroom.
The Female Forum founder & CEO Nora Stolz says: “Our purpose at The Female Forum is to create a professional world female leaders can believe in and thrive. The launch of the Pension Chapter is the first in our industry collaboration programme, and what industry to start with! It’s full
of knowledgeable and vibrant women working on often complex and multifaceted issues. We hope our events will provide a useful forum to discuss technical issues as well as to forge close connections with other women.”
