Origo Dashboard Connector passes integration testing

Origo Dashboard Connector (ODC) has completed integration testing, marking a step in connecting to the government’s pensions dashboard architecture.

Origo has worked with the Pensions Dashboards Programme (PDP) to ensure providers can connect to the system on time. Its Dashboard Connector (ODC) passed testing by showing it can process ‘find and view’ requests, allowing users to access their pension details. Origo also tested its data matching algorithm with millions of daily transactions, meeting PDP speed and accuracy requirements.

Dashboards will allow people to access their pension information and plan for retirement.

Origo CEO Anthony Rafferty says: “I’m incredibly proud of the work the Origo team has carried out to help us reach this significant milestone. In order for people to truly see the benefit of pensions dashboards, there is an awful lot that has to happen behind the scenes before they can go live in the not-too-distant future. 

“If we really want to see pension engagement improve then it’s important everyone works to make this happen and we provide a safe and reliable service in order to make it a success. That doesn’t happen overnight. It takes serious thought, planning and then delivery.

“The expertise and knowledge within our team is reflected in the quality of the build of Origo Dashboard Connector and how smoothly and quickly we managed to pass through the important integration testing phase.

“We fully anticipate completing full operational acceptance during March and we will be ready to onboard ODC clients to help them meet their “connect by” dates as per the regulatory guidance.

“We have used our extensive experience in the financial services market to build a service which will allow pension providers and administrators to quickly respond to data and valuation requests from consumers. 

“I had every confidence that the team would be able to demonstrate everything is working as it should but it’s quite right our service has been thoroughly put through its paces and I’m delighted we were able to deliver. 

“We want to make connecting to the pensions dashboard as simple and straightforward as possible but there’s no denying it’s a complex process which sits behind it.”
