Trade body Pensions UK, formerly the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association, has appointed 21 industry experts to its DB, master trust, local authority and DC committees.
The four committees focus on specific policy issues across the pensions landscape, which is intended to provide subject‑matter expertise and ensure that the voices of workplace schemes, providers and advisers are represented in Pensions UK’s policy development. Each committee plays an advisory role and meets three times a year.
Zoe Burdo and Stephen Budge of consultancy firm Lane Clark & Peacock have been appointed to Pensions UK’s DB and DC committees.
Jill Ampleford, head of trustee consulting at LCP, said: “These committees play an important role in shaping policy across the pensions landscape, and I’m confident that Zoe and Stephen will bring valuable insight and a collaborative spirit to help drive progress for schemes and members alike.”
