People’s Partnership has appointed Alice Leighton to be its new marketing director as it looks to boost engagement with the 6.5 million members of its master trust, The People’s Pension.
Leighton will join from the insurer RSA, where she was responsible for brand strategy, marketing campaigns, content and customer experience.
She has more than 20 years’ experience in financial services marketing holding various roles with RSA’s broker, consumer and partnership brands, which include in Nationwide, Tesco, John Lewis and Marks & Spencer.
In February The People’s Pension was the first UK master trust to announce £25 billion assets under management. The business is looking to expand its proposition with the recent introduction of a new set of retirement planning tools, a financial wellbeing offering, and a member app set to be launched later this year.
The People’s Partnership chief commercial officer David Meliveo says: “I’m thrilled to be able to welcome [Leighton] onboard to lead the vital marketing team for The People’s Pension. Her experience will help us grow our brand as one of the UK’s leading workplace pension providers.”
