People’s Partnership appoints new COO

The People’s Partnership has appointed Angela Staral to be its new chief operating officer.

Staral, who will take up the role in February, joins from Goldman Sachs where she is currently COO of investment banking engineering. She has previously worked for HSBC, ING, Sopra Steria and Mercedes-Benz Financial Services.

In this new role Staral will oversee all customer operations and servicing at The People’s Partnership — which runs The People’s Pension master trust. The company now has £23bn assets under management and is one of the largest workplace pension providers in the UK. The People’s Partnership says this appointment will help the company continue to improve the service it offers it growing membership base.

Staral says: “I am excited to play an instrumental part not only in People’s Partnership’s growth plans. This is a business full of people who want to make a genuine difference to the millions of customers they serve, and I am looking forward to joining them to further improve that already excellent service.”
