People’s Pension boosts investment team with new senior appointment

People’s Pension has further expanded its investment team by appointing Daniel Spencer as co-head of fixed income.

Spencer joins from Brunel Pensions Partnership, where he spent eight years as a portfolio manager, leading a multi-billion-pound multi-asset credit portfolio, as well as an emerging markets equity fund.

Prior to this, he held investment analyst roles at Axa Investment Managers and JP Morgan and has almost 20 years of investment management experience, with extensive expertise in manager selection, portfolio construction, strategic asset allocation, and risk modelling.

Spencer will work alongside fellow co-head of fixed income Charlotte Vincent. People’s Pension manages more than £45bn in assets under management.

People’s Pension chief investment officer Dan Mikulskis says: “Daniel’s extensive portfolio management experience makes him an excellent addition to the People’s Pension investment team as we continue to grow rapidly at a pivotal time.”
