Phoenix Group has appointed Tim Fassam as public affairs director.
Fassam previously served as the director of government relations and policy at PIMFA, the trade association for financial advisors and wealth managers. Prior to joining the Financial Services Skills Commission, he served as managing director of public relations, policy, and research for TheCityUK. He began his career with Barclays and then spent ten years at Prudential, where he finished as director of UK public relations and head of the group chairman’s office.

He brings significant experience and understanding of the UK political landscape and the financial services sector, alongside a proven track record of success in advocating for businesses and their customers.
